What is the lowest grain bullet for this barrel (That will stabilize) I have a Savage 11F in .223 and have loaded up some 69 grain bthp and some 55 v max, and 55 noslers to try out soon if the weather breaks, what is to small for yotes @ 200-300yds

The 1:9 works best from 55-80. Nothing is going to be too small for a yote. Shoot the bullet that is most accurate in your rifle and whack some!

Thanks Guy's..just started reloading...should I load for the cartridge to fit the magazine because the lands are a bit forward..I believe I read that here..I know that if I take a 69 grain sierra and seat it to just touch the lands it wont fit in the mag..just wondering! Thanks

Measure your oal of your magazine, then set your cartridge oal .010 or so short. Cycle a few dummy rounds through and make sure all is well.
