Muleman, in my experience, IMR7828 is the powder of choice for the 270'bee. I use the ssc variety, though, and consistently (across multiple lots of both) get better velocities than the regular cut. I've run the 130's at 3500 with 7828, and it is just within safe pressure limits. I have since backed down a smidge with Nosler E-Tips (130gr) and am getting about 3420fps out of those, with sub-moa accuracy. I've been pleased, but I will say the E-Tips are finicky and require a bit of finessing in terms of COL to find the (very narrow) sweet spot. They do like to be shorter, even in the long throat of a 'bee.
If you use lead core stuff, you can get 3450-3500fps out of that combination. A 140gr AB at 3300fps is no slouch either, for sure. There just isn't much to dislike about the 270'bee. I believe it's the very best non-bear-country Weatherby chambering out there. Enjoyable to shoot, fun to work with, and smacks 'em like you want it to, in my experience.
