Stopped to check things out at one of the local shops. The only powders they had on the shelf were Magpro and Reloader 7.
Brought home a pound of Magpro just to try out but I haven’t found much data for the rifles I have.
Anybody having any success with this powder?

I've only tried Magpro in my 300WSM.I never got to max loads with it.Recoil was horrible for the velocity I was getting. Some powders are like that in certain cartridges.Might work real good in my 7mags,but just never tried it.

Alderman what are you going to use it in? I shot really well in my friends 270 wsm,and its working really well in my 6.5 prc.

No real plans at this point but I’ve got 270, 280, 30-06, 300 Win, Weatherby and H&H. 264 Mag, 8 Mag and 338 Win Mag.

Used MagPro with 154 g HDY SP, 162 g NOS SB, and 162 g HDY SST. It worked quite well in my 7 WSM with 16 g NOS AB. I should imagine it would work well with 200 g NOS AB in your 8mm RM, pushing a 180 g NOS AB in your 300 Win, etc.

It was the best powder for my 264win mag and 100gr bullets 75.8grs, mag primer and 3644fps SD15.
It also worked well and a couple of others I load for both different bullets and cartridges

I run magpro in my 270win with 140 ABs. 3100fps all day long and .5 moa groups. Also works well in 7rm and most over bore cartridges.
