Anybody besides me very happy with the features and accuracy!!
I am borderline amazed and they are light (6.75#). Both of mine (243/25-06) shoot an inch at 200yds with handloads and I haven't much time developing the loads.
Just a FYI

Welcome to the forum, glad you are here. Those Marlin rifles shoot!
What loads are you rolling for your 243 Win and 25-06?

Welcome to the forum; good to have you on board. I haven't handled any of the current crop of Marlin bolt guns. They have made some fine rifles in the past, and it sounds as if they may have done a very good job of this current crop. It certainly sounds as if you found a couple of fine rifles. Any info on your loads?

The March 2011 issue of RIFLE has a great article on the Marlin X7S. You may want to check it out. Sounds like quite the rifle for an amazing price.

I had the 30-06 flavor . Under .75" all day long.

Both rifles shoot a variety of loads well.
The 243 shoots 70 & 90 gr BT's and 58gr vmax all well.
The 25-06 really shined after a floated and bedded it. 75gr vmax and 100 gr Hornady work well and IF NOSLER HAD SOME 2nds I would use some 100gr BTs.

With my .308 I am getting consistently between .600 and .750 still working on OAL Very nice rifle great trigger, I may try and bed the action later in the year.

Another thing I like is that point of impact changes little if any with all loads. I have owned piles of full customs that didn't shoot or feel better!!!!

It may be worth trying the 100 gr BT in your 25-06. I use it in my 257 Roberts and get .5 MOA accuracy. This bullet is excellent for both coyotes and deer size game. I shot this coyote a few weeks back with the 100 gr BT at 100 yds. Shown is the exit wound on this 25 lb female.

I know I have been resisting picking one up. They have alot of great features for the money and everytime I hear about them, I hear about how awesome they shoot. I think they are the best looking budget rifle out there and they have some slick actions. Scotty

Yup, I have a camo stocked 25-06.
Got it to shoot 110gr AB and 115gr Berger VLDs just under an inch at 100yds with H4831SC.
Wears a Bushnell Elite 4200 2.5-10x40 with the firefly reticle.
It's my new whitetail treestand rifle.

I and some pards have had a little trouble getting 110AB's to shoot. Normally any 25-06 that shoots will shoot 100gr to 120gr with RE22 or H4350 but after 3-4 25-06's I gave up. This Marlin is only surpassed by a Hill Country Rifles full custom. This $300 special flat shoots, isn't fussy and POI isn't affected by different hand loads regardless of bullet weight as long as you avoid the 110.

I have the marlin XS7 in the 308 win, at first I had alot of troubles with it. But now she will shoot pretty good.
