The 250 gr Hot Cor's. Factory overrun. $31 per box of 100. Smoking deal really. I'd buy some but I've no clue what or when I'd need 250 grainers for. I know some guys on here have used them for heavy game. They're there if you need em.

FWIW, the 250 gr bullets in the 35 Whelen work quite well on WT deer.

While I prefer a 225 grain pill in my Whelen, the 250 grain bullet does deliver the goods. I have used it in my 358 Win, but again, I prefer the 200 grain pill.

They pretty much shoot the same speed and accuracy as the 250 Partition out of my Whelen. I’ve only used them on Black Bear, as I used the Partition on my African hunt. But I wouldn't hesitate to use them on much of anything.

To Lefty's point, the Speer 250 shoots to the same POI as the 250 PT. Brinky72 clobbered a big doe with the Speer 250 over here a couple years back. She only went about 30 yards but the blood trail was amazing.
