Mil Surp Powders

How many of you all use them?

I am thinking I might start trying some. With good burn rates for the magnums, pistol and medium rifle, it might be worth a try..

If they were not generally available here in Canada, you can be assured I'd be using these mil surp powders. Give it a shot (so to speak), Scotty.

I think I am going to Mike. The prices are pretty attractive, and if you buy in bulk, they cut the HAZMAT fee most of the time.. Need to get Brian on board to see if we could split an order or something.

I have been using some pulled down powder from military ammo, IMR 4895, for years. I came across a great deal about 10 years ago and then about 5 years ago while on a hunting trip ran into a fellow that had WAY MORE than he could ever use and he GAVE ME 8 lb more. It chrons within a few FPS either way as brand new IMR 4895.
