Minox 2-10 ZE5I

Not sure if you all have seen these or not. I am pretty big fan of the lower powered Minox's and it seems they have stepped up there game. This is a fully built in Germany scope with an illuminated reticle. I am not fond of the 50mm objective, but for a couple of my rifles, they would likely be okay. I do like they have added a 30mm tube.

Anyhow, I am looking forward to seeing what the glass looks like on these.

I do really like this one though. 1-5 with a 24mm obj.. I could see this scope being very useful for alot of rifles, since I tend to like lower powered scopes

Hmmmm. I do like the concept of the 1-5X24. I'm in the market for such a scope at the moment. I've been focused on the Vortex Razor HD Gen II 1-6X24 and/or the MeoStar R1 1.5-6X42 RD, either of which would meet my needs. However, this Minox could change my mind. I'll have to give this some thought.

Yeah, I would think so as well Mike. They are quite alot pricier than their Z5 brothers, so I am hoping the quality of them is commensurate. I would put that 1-5X on quite a few of my rifles if I could fund them. I am betting it is a great optic and I really like the #4 reticle.

I won't be buying right away, however. I have a Leica ER 3.5-14X42 with target turrets coming. However, I will explore the Minox somewhat more closely.

When you get that Leica with Target Turrets, you gotta take lots of pictures for me. That scope is the one that would make me a happy camper if it pans out the way I think it should.

What reticle for the Leica are you getting Mike.

I honestly don't remember what I requested, Scotty. I do think that I requested the Plex reticle, however. It should be here this week; my VISA has already been billed.
