Alright guys, I have a question for you all. My ejector spring on my M70 Classic Sporter 264 Win Mag seems pretty weak. While shooting it this last time before I left. It wasn't pushing the ejector up into the bolt track the way it should have been. I cleaned the groove out really well, but it seems like the spring is pretty weak.

I have found two of them. One for the Pre 64's and one for the Post 64's. My rifle is of course a Post 64, but with the Classic CRF action. Numrich's shows two springs and while they are both inexpensive, I don't wanna get the wrong spring.

The two Part #'s I have are from Numrichs are

43180L

85690E

If any of you all have some intel on this, I would appreciate it.

They are different lengths. I am not sure that they are interchangeable? You could buy both and experiment but I would go with the prper part number.

Thanks Charlie. I don't mind buying both, only a few dollars a piece.. Just wondering if anybody had ever replaced theirs..

I thought these type of failures only happened to that other brand?

I apologize. I couldn't resist...

All I know is that the Classics differ from the pre-64's as Charlie stated. Weren't the pre-64 bolts hand-made/fitted which caused the push to go to the PF bolts?
