Coming up in rotation is this old (1974) Blackhawk in .357. I have posted on some forums about this gun. It was a train wreck when I got it.
I had to totally rebuild it but it turned out to be an awesome shooter. The Buehler mount was on the gun when I got it and made about the same time as the gun. The cross bolt broke. I cleaned up all the holes and made a new torx head cross bolt. I reloaced the chewed up slot heads with Torx screws. Just an improvemnt that was worth while. The original non adjustable 2X Leupold let go and I replaced it with a NOS M8-2X. I wish this gun could talk. Whoever had this gun originally used it till it was wore out. The TLC was totaly worth it. This gun has shot as tight as 1" at 100 yards. More honest assesment it it consistently shoots under 2" at 100 yards. Heading out this weekend.

Nice looking Blackhawk that's rich with history.
Good luck on your hunt Roy. The deer are in deep dark trouble.
