Yeah that is a beauty and would make any hunter proud. some states manage their game herds really well while others don't on public hunting lands.

Yeah he is from Iuka which is in my home county. Believe he killed it in Claiborne county. It's a dandy for down here that's for sure! We usually ain't known for monster deer, but we have a lot of them. I think last report said we had a herd of about 1.75 million.

That particular management area has very limited permits and IIRC more restrictive seasons than some. Most of the MS WMAs have long seasons, are wide open to the public and have generous limits. The MS River Delta produces some quality bucks.
