Should have results and pix this weekend

on the 257 30-378 and 378 Bees.

Guess I am back on a Bee kick!

I will try my old standby the 200 gr AB at 3300 and the 210 Berger, though I can never get it to group.

Nice Accumark! That would be one cool long range rifle for sure. Good luck with the load work. Hopefully you find an elk load, it is getting closer every week! Scotty

Beautiful rifles both, for different reasons. The .378 has a stunning piece of wood on it. I have seen several .378's with outstanding wood lately (Japanese and US). I would buy either rifle in a minute. Somebody in Weatherby production is putting the great wood on the bigbores. This of course, presently is probably where Weatherby's most faithful following is.

Great looking Bees. LOL, that 30-378 is a great round. You are working it at full potential getting that kind of velocity out of 200 grn Accubonds.
The AccuBond IMO, seems to be one of the best performers for a lead core bullets @ really high velocity.

I had a 30-378 in a Mk V and an unbraked M995. I had the Sako for 5 rounds and the MK V until the barrel was half worn out......

JT.

Fine rifles Pop!! The wood on the 378 is beautiful. I always like a good 257.

That vel. for a 200 Acc. is most impressive, with the BC of that bullet I can't imagine a better Elk hammer!!
