Here is the link on YouTube. It’s about an hour long. Lots of stuff got left out including all the “cull” hunts. Not sure why but I am pleased with how it turned out. I wish they had included more of the hunt footage, everything seems short and abrupt, but I understand some restrictions

Great video Firebird. Thank you for sharing your hunt. Definitely a first class operation you are hunting with. Nicely done!

What a great adventure!😎
And some great shooting too!(y) (Nice to have been able to take a rifle with sentimental value on your hunt and out it to great use adding to its memories for you and your late friend.)
You should be happy with it as it does a good job of capturing some great moments of your hunting experience, even if not all of it.

With our next trip just over 5 months away, it helps build our excitement for upcoming safari!
My first African animal was a nyala too. Totally agree that they are extremely beautiful animals.
And that the bushbuck are a fun hunt. While we looked for them for 6 days, I was grateful to get a shot opportunity on mine, as he was the only ram we saw on the trip. And I am looking forward to hunting them again in May!

Thanks again for sharing more of your adventure!

Great to relive your hunting experience in this beautiful and well done video John.

I read your posts and few weeks ago, which were pretty well written and informative in every aspect. That said there’s nothing quite like seeing how your story unfolded and watch what took place.

The story line flowed through well from the beginning to the end.

Thanks for sharing, Hunt 4 Africa has a special place there, the history of the indigenous peoples that lived in the caves was even more fascinating to see.

Rudolph shooting sticks-I believe made in Georgia. Quad sticks I believe is the other brand. I can shoot very well with them, much better than any brand of tripod sticks

I googled Rudolph shooting sticks to find them. Rudolph Optics carries them. They have gone up in price but there was a “buddy” option that makes them cheaper and they do ship for free-no I don’t get a commission :ROFLMAO: IMG_3201.jpeg

I used a very similar set that my PH provided when I was in SA last year, called Viper Sticks.
Lightweight to carry and pretty quick to deploy when needed, and I will admit that they are quicker to makes adjustments with if an animal moves than most tripods.
