Thanks Mike, I wish everyone on this great forum good luck for 2012  ...I'm flying out to newfy for the hunt, my back won't take the 30hr trip there for sure..If I have a chance, the first decent bull well be nosler partitioned for sure...I'm more excited for my 76yr young friend shooting his first moose..Well keep ya posted for sure, Lou :)

Lou, good luck to you and to your partner with your moose hunt. I hope that both of you have the opportunity to kill a nice young bull moose on your hunt.

Hi Mike wondering if you are going out to chase Elk or bear tomorrow.
My nephew text me tonight and he shot his first WT buck with a pointy stick.
I hope to have photos in the next day or so :)

Blessings,
Dan

Elk are not bugling yet; it is pretty warm right now. I'll likely wait a week or so and see what is happening then. Tomorrow is another day of writing.

Yes we had our first touch of frost this morning  but is still got up to around 20 C they are talking this kind of weather for the foreseeable future :(
I was hoping for a few cooler days to get the bulls thinking at least 8)

Blessings,
Dan
