Just got it the other day. I can not live without a lever and this one was priced correctly. Yes that is Marlin wood! What do you think?

Thanx Jim.

She will be fun.
44 mag bullets 200 grains at 1000 fps or.... 355 grain cast at 2100 fps!

Nice! The wood is awesome! But why that big herking recoil pad on a mere .444?

Check out the .444 articles at Beartooth bullets web site - some good stuff!

My Marlin is a .45-70, but any of the Marlin big bores are great timber rifles!

Regards, Guy

Wow!!!! That is beautiful wood. My XLR45-70 is not so pretty, but it will shoot. I bet your's will shoot also!

That's got to be the finest "regular" wood I've ever seen on a 444 Marlin.

Good acquisition there POP,

You still havent shot the savage yet!
Here I thought I was the only one with two new rifles unshot. There's got to be a snowshoe rabbit around somewhere
Good Shooting
Elkhunt

P.S. That is the finest stock I've ever seen on a factory lever action. You done good!! :)

Beautiful rifle!! Lucky man....except he cant shoot anything yet! No such thing as a bad rain or snow in Wy. but, man wish the weather would warm up! CL
