I haven't shot it yet.
This is a beuatiful rifle.
Well worth the wait. The case is also amazing. Everything is very well crafted. I am very impressed.

NICE WORK NOSLER

I haven't went to the range yet but I did manage to go shooting up in the mountians today.
My wife and kids went with and rode the quads around while I was shooting.
I set the chrony up and shot a few rounds @ 100yds. I was a bit concearned after three shots when the group was 2". I shot two more rounds and the rifle didn't seem to group at all.
I was shooting my 7mm and 270 also. The 270 was shooting 3/4" and the 7mm was @ 1".
The Nosler ammo that came with the rifle posted very nice numbers on the chrony and had a low S.D. (i don't remember the stats and will post later)
I began to wonder if my shooting skills were that bad.
I got to thinking..... when I read the instruction manual it had mentioned to tighten the cams on the quick release rings snugly and not to over tighten.
long story short.... I snugged the cams up a bit more, fired three more shots inside a nickle.. keep in mind all of this is happening off the back of my truck. I lay a two gun hard case diagnoly across the bed to make a "shooting bench".
I was very pleased with the group. I took the average fps from the chrony and plugged that number into the ballistic calculator. After looking at the trajectory I made a few adjustments then fired another round at 100 yds to verify the adjustment. It hit where I wanted it.
I turned my "shooting bench" around to face some 2 liter bottles and milk jugs that I filled with water before placing them on a bank 345 yds away.
I raised the gun up so the bottles were in between the 300yd and 400yd dot on the reticle and squeezed the triger.
I saw the bottle explode in the scope.
I can't wait to go to the range and sit behind a bench to shoot.
I was so happy with the results today that when my daughter bent the tie rod on my quad :x , then on the way home my truck blew a tire :x :x ..... it gets better..... I couldn't find the jack handle which is also the tool to lower the spare tire from under the truck  ..... Glad I have on star because I was out of cell range...... An hour later a tow truck took me home...... but none of that bothered me too much because I have a Nosled custom that shoots great and looks even better and I am still smiling.
My family should thank Nosler also because if all that @#$% happened on any other day.??????

Man, I may have to work up some justification for a new rifle just based on having a bad day! Sounds like you have a great shooter (anybody expect less?) and she's sure beautiful. Enjoy, and be sure to post pictures of the game that falls to her.

Here is the chrony results from the Nosler ammo shot through the NCR.

Sorry the results were from the 140 AB
I was thinking about trying the 160 but the reticle was designed for the 140 ab with a MV of 3150.
I don't know if I can push the 160 that fast yet.
I loaded some rounds Sunday (I like to call it Gunday) and shot them through the chrony. I had some strange velocity readings.
The powder was RL-22 and it was about 40 deg outside. The velocity varied as much as 120 fps with the same load. :?
I think I am going to try 4831 and change the primer from CCI 250 to a fed 210 or WLRM
I did get my 7mm mag to finally shoot under an inch so the day wasn't a total loss.
Of course any day shooting is better than any other day not shooting.
