I have been developing loads in my 300 Win mag and after finding the sweet spot, I started pulling bullets from leftover rounds. It takes very little effort to remove them, versus my 30/06 and .243 which take considerable force. How much tension is too little? I must say I am concerned about the bullets moving. I do not crimp and never have had any issues. I cannot move the bullets with my fingers, but to me they seem too loose. CJ

It sounds like you need to take some emory paper to the sizing die button. The little bump on the rod the decapping pin rides in. This will gain you some bullet tension. Cordles drill and a dial caliper to make sure it stays round and you do not take too much off.

I found a small dab of crap on my shellholder which didn't allow the case to be fully seated in the die. Cleaned it and tried a few cases. All is well. Got worried for nothing. CJ
