Need a good synthectic stock for the MRC 1999 270 WSM.

any good aftermarket stocks for the above gun, i love wood but want rugged and somthing i won't fuss about when scratched. thanks all
 
From what I understand the action is almost identical to the M70 Winchester, so you can use any stock for M70 and have little or no more fitting work than you would for the M70.
 
Try stockys.com they have great selection of laminated and synthetics. They also have a search tool to locate stocks for your rifle. You might try Numerich gun parts. They bought a lot of M70 stocks and you can get a great deal on a Winchester stock. I just bought a M70 Supergrade stock for my .338; fully finished, recoil pad, sling swivels and checkered for under 200$.

Scott, thanks for the heads up on the Winchester stocks. I just got my old M70 7RM back and I think it is time for an upgrade. A nice wood stock with pillars would be sweet. Scotty
