New 7mm 140 gr E-Tip

I saw this on their website yesterday. Might have to give it a try in the ol 7-08!

Should work well in my 7mmRem mag. I wonder how well they will do(expansion) in my 7mm-08 with its lower bullet speed?

Oh boy, all kinds of new stuff to play with. The 140 etip and the 100 for the bob. I'll have a busy off season as long as Nosler gets em out on time.

We will be some loading fools this year!

If they are 1/2 as good as the 160ABs Nosler should have another big hit.

Blessings,
Dan

I shot a 200 gr ET out of my 338 WM into a dirt bank at 600 yards this last sunday and it just shoved the tip back into the bullet a bit and opend up just a little bit. According to Quick Load they should be going about 1800 FPS at that range. Looked just like the pic that nosler had on their website for a while when they first came out. I'll try to get a pic up tomorrow. 1800 fps is deff the min.

I will be picking up a couple of boxes of these for my 280. They will be perfect.

I have yet to try any of the e-tips, but I think this just might be the one....
where to start, where to start.. the 7-08? .280? or 7mag ?

Normally I shoot 160 - 175 grain bullets from my 7mm Rem mag... This little 140 E-Tip sure gets my attention though... I could see blasting it downrange at about 3200 fps for pretty much any mule deer or even an elk... Should have a flat trajectory and should do well, even on tough stuff like a bull elk shoulder..

Any word on when these will be generally available? Are they shipping now? I'm more than a little interested in securing a supply, both of these and of the 168 grain 30 cal and the 180 grain 8mm for my 30-06, 300 WSM and for the 325 WSM.

I will try to get release dates for these new bullets.

MidwayUSA has a "REMIND ME" feature that will let you know when the 140gr E-Tips are available.

Nosler,

Any updates for the 7mm 140 gr E-Tip release?

Same here, I usually stick with the 160's or even 175's out of my 7mm Rem Mag, but it might be fun using this bullet for an all arounder. Plus, being all copper, it should have a decent BC if it follows the other E-Tips. Should be able to really make that little 140 sing too. Scotty
