I don't normally do this but decided to throw a few out of a new box on the scale. I'm not sure what you guys expect but I was very happy with the results.

I have a pretty decent scale that is calibrated and rated for .02 grains accuracy.

.264 ABLR 129 grains

128.90
128.92
129.08
129.00
129.00
128.96
128.66(low)
129.18(high)
128.68
128.86

Average: 128.90

So I guess that makes the ES about 0.52 grains. I would say that's pretty solid.

What do you guys expect? Match bullet? Hunting bullet?

What do manufacturers normally claim as their acceptable tolerances?

That amount of spread is fine with me for a hunting bullet. I'm not a match shooter so I can't really comment there.

The only place I see tighter tolerance is on monolithic bullets such as Barnes. I’ve not used E-tips yet.. maybe others could comment.

What’s your scale?

I'm a big fan. As long as you let it warm up for a bit, it is spot on. I like turning it on about 10 minutes before I need to use it.
