Just as a recap...
Stainless Winchester 70 Classic "G" series action
Shilen #3 cut to 24" - chambered in 338 win mag
McMillan Super Grade Black Stock
Winchester Super Grade Bottom Metal
Williams Extractor
Aftermarket follower
Talley Steels
Zeiss HD5 2-10X42
Had all the "magic" metal work done to ensure proper feeding and reliability, threaded and chambered, adjusted the trigger to a very crisp break, and bedded it into the stock. All metal is cerakoted graphite black and the bolt has been jeweled. Rifle weighs 9 pounds exactly - which works for me on this one.
Hopefully it shoots as good as it looks, will be working with 210 and 250 partitions.
