Weatherby, any caliber. As we all know if the animal can see your hunting them with a Weatherby, they have a heart attack and die, you dont even have to pull the trigger. You spend a little more for a Weatherby but you save a bundle in ammo costs--it all balances out. Fotis seems to be a smart hunter, so I guess Weatherby, any caliber

Phew weeeeee Sean, just you just get a new pair of patent leather white shoes? Man, that almost sounded like an ad! HAHAHAA

(-:

Your not drinking the Kool aid Scotty---I bet Dubyam agrees with me. (-;

It would be funny now if what fotis choose was a Bee.

I actually do like some Weatherby's. The Euromarks are very nice looking rifles.

Hers she is. Still in the box.

Fotis that is a excellent addition to your arsenal :) what are you going to be placing on top of it for glass?
Has Leupold sent you a replacement for that VX3 yet?

Blessings,
Dan

The scope is en route. This one will get a 3x9x40 Redfield/Leupold on it.

It will stand you in good stead, Fotis. It is undoubtedly a great cartridge and a fine rifle. I do enjoy shooting the T3s.

I was close! I really do love my T3 270 Win. I adjusted the trigger on mine to where the little black set screw touches the big silver allen head bolt in front of it and the trigger is S-W-E-E-T now!

You can bank on it, alaska! Even when I'm not wearing my special, white patent leather hunting boots that seem to attract deer like moths to a flame, I love my 'bees! ;)

Congrats, Fotis, on what should be a great rifle. I am a little surprised you went so small for those big deer out west...figured a 460 or 470 was in order after seeing your 'lope gun...

Great rifle! I sighted in a new T3 Lite in .270 Win a couple years ago for a friend and was impressed. A good bit nicer than the Tikka 695/25-06 I'd owned, IMO. He had, I believe a 3-9x40 Nikon on top of his. You should have a great combination there, Congrats!

Now you guys are scaring me! Deer hunting in white patent leather shoes and a belt! Where are you hunting, at a southern California car dealership, or spirits of Roy Weatherby in South Gate?

nice
My brother has one, he doesn't reload anymore and so he shoots factory ammo.
His rifle shoots the Nosler 140 AB load about 1" at 200 yards
Deer slayer fo sure!

Tikkas are danged good shooting guns, I have owned several and shot more.
All have been VERY accurate.

But Fotis, you NEED two deer rifles in Wyo - one for those big ol' mountain mulies, and another for the dinky whitetails that don't get to the corn, like in the Black Hills. The new addition will do nicely for the first, but methinks you need to fill that whitetail niche. Just know you won't be happy without it....
