New Front Sight on my S&W 629

Today I put a new sight on my 5" S&W 629. I replaced the factory red-ramp front sight with a slightly taller, narrower Dawson Precision fiber-optic sight. It only took me about two minutes with no tools. I needed taller for the 300 grain ammo, and the more narrow front sight provides more "air" around it in the sight picture. The fiber optic is So Bright! It's a big improvement.

I have Dawson fiber on several of my handguns. I have one still in the package for my S&W 1911.
