Picked up a scope for a rifle I don't even have yet, a Burris 8x32x44mm. I plan on getting a heavy barreled .243 to put it on. Probably overkill but it was a deal I couldn't pass on. Hope it works out for me, should be able to find those little holes anyway. :wink:

Unattached scopes are costly. They seem to attract rifles like honey attracts flies.
Cannot even fathom having a scope that is not destined for a rifle. Of course, in the past I could not fathom being so busy as to have a pile of unmounted scopes, either. 
Ordering stocks for rifles I don't have, a bunch of unfired rifles... stuff sure does get weird as you get older.
