new gun??? what is it

It looks to me like a 7mm Weatherby who someone cut the radii as sharper corners but the case may be too long? Without casting dims. it is hard to tell.

Yellow dog,
I think we are back to calling it the WTF. I am thinking it is very close ballistic wise to the 7 mm STW. From the pictures the shoulder seems different, but you have a real thumper, either way. I got a lot of help on powder selections the other day for my STW so I would bet that you will want to try RL-22 and 25. Hodgdons Retumbo, and H-1000. Well constructed bullets, will be a must for hunting. This was great fun, hope you enjoyed the puzzle.

I am with Bill on this one. With it matching closely to the 340WBY, I can't see it being ballistically different from the STW much, if any at all. Looks like a touch longer in the neck, but man, you have a 7mm powerhouse right there. If there was a chance to get dies and run it, I am betting it wouldn't take much to develop loads.

If you could give me the H20 capacity of a fired case, could compare it to the other cartridges in QL and give you a run down of where it falls out.

I've decided to order some dies on Tuesday and run with this thing should be fun and real unique.

redding makes custom dies correct? would I just send in my loaded fire formed bullet?

any help from someone who has been there would be great

I think RCBS does as well. You just send them a fired case.

These folks will also make you a die as well, specifically for your chamber
