Deoxygenate some water (let it set overnight exposed to the air). Weigh the case empty (with primer in place or flash hole sealed with was) and then with the case filled until there is a convex meniscus. The difference is overfill case volume, which allows for more precise calculations. Generally, our chambers are slightly larger than SAAMI standards, which means to achieve projected velocities, we will require a slightly greater powder charge.
