Got the same Amish boy that made me a sheath for the old kelly axe I restored, to make me a replacement recoil pad for Dad's 71.
Done a bang up job once again.
Here's the sheath he made me for the axe.
First pic is of the inside of the pad, I appreciate people that take the time to be particular. I liked how he pulled both tails of the lacing back through on the inside. I cut a piece of foam to fit the butt plate contour of the pad.
2 more. Should be good to go, now just gotta carry the gun enough to make that new leather look as authentic as the gun. :grin:
