New Seekins 6.8 W , 170 gr Nosler BT 2738 fps=

My skiing days are long over.
I have been blessed to hunt everything in NA I wanted to. With God’s will I have one more elk hunt and a DIY Wyoming antelope hunt. With 15 PPs I think I can luck into something….
If you ever want to discuss antelope in WY, bump me. I know a bit but haven't chased them in a few years due to my son not being able to draw a youth tag in units closer to home.

Nice buck congratulations! Love the Seekins rifle, it's a beauty. How far was the shot? The young mulie buck I took at 190 yards with the 170 gr BT from my 6.8 left about a 1.5" exit wound, perfect performance.

100 yards. I wish I took pictures of the entrance/exit. You can see the entrance on the picture I posted and the exit was the exact same spot on the other side. I lost very little meat. The lungs were gone. DRT. My favorite track job.

I love killing them before they rut hard. He had over an inch of fat on his brisket and back.

Congratulations on putting a rifle, a load, and a successful hunt. It all came together for you.

My son taken a couple bucks so far with 170 btip in 1-8 270 WSM loaded to 2850. Could go faster but super accurate and like the OP showed great performance. Good expansion/damage with good sized exits
