Well since I sold my 356 Winnie I decided to upgrade (power wise that is) to something more usable for Wyoming.

Here she is. Like new Remington (circa 1988) 350 rem mag in a classic.

Now for some 225 NP's and RL 15!

POP,

You done good. That will be a cool rifle to shoot. The Classic looks ... well, classic. I sold my 35 Whelan Classic, and almost instantly regretted it. My current 350 RM is chambered in a Remington Model 673. I've thought of trading it off for one of the CDLs. However, if I could find a Classic...

Really nice indeed, and I like the 350mag. All most shoots a good as my 358Win

Thanx guys. DR Mike, what loads work for you?

I've had several loads that work well. Woodleigh 250 grain RN with a max charge of 59 grains of W748 gives good velocity and MOA accuracy. Sierra 225 grain SBT with 56 grains IMR4064 or 50.5 grains A2015 give sub-MOA groups and good velocities. Sierra 225 grain SBT and 59 grains IMR4320 give MOA accuracy and excellent velocity. 52 grains of A2015 with NOS 225 PT give sub-MOA and excellent velocity. Either 57 grains of IMR4064 or 50 grains of IMR3031 give sub-MOA accuracy and very good velocity. And 59 grains of IMR4064 and 200 grain TSX give good velocity and excellent groups.

Nice , nice nice pops.
I am half tempted to buy a model 7 cdl in 350 rem.
And if I do there will be a gold stripe on my scope too. !

Yeah but the only problem is I gotta sell one to get one.. Got to remedy that one day......

A hunting buddy likes his old original .350 Rem mag, with the laminated stock. What was that a 660? Back when it was initially purchased a case of 200 gr factory ammo was also purchased. That's been a good 30 years, and he's the second or third in his family to use it much. Still using ammo from the original purchase, and it's still laying out coyotes and mule deer...

Can you believe after all these years nobody ever scoped it? Still has just the original sights...

Congrats! What a great rifle, I have one just like it.Mine has the Leupold VariXIII 1.5X5 on it.It seems like my rifle likes IMR 4320.I have forgotten because it has been so long since I loaded for it.

POP, there is no cure for what you have so it would be best to resign yourself to the reality of this sickness and move on knowing it is going to cost you time, money who knows what else.

I am in the WRAP program right now as I am recovering from the sickness. Oh!! the WRAP program is "Wife Rehabilitation Accept Plan". In other words It is her program to rehabilitate me to her way of thinking and I had better accept her program as she has it planned or else.

I do not care what you call it...as long as we do not lose you from here bullet.....

Just picked her up t0day.

Previous owner said .6" /100 with 225 NP and 4320.

Nice find Pop.
The 350 Rem Mag with 225 gr PT's will make for a great black timber rifle.

I like that remington real well.
I don't like to many of the new rifles on the market but one I di like is the Modle 7 CDL in .350 rem mag.
It would sure make a guy apreciate the limbsaver pad it comes with.
Load with a 225 grain bullet for general purpose, and retain te ability to use lighter and heavyer slugs for more specialized loads...tj3006
