New Winchester Brass .223

I bought some new brass the other day and the case length is 1.755, manual has the length at 1.760 for 55 grn solid base ballistic tip (orange)...Just want to be safe..and if I trim the case just a hair is will put me shorter, or is the lenght in the manual a max trim?..Thanks

Have you resized the new brass? If not FL size it then remeasure. What's in the manual is max case lenght.
