Dewey,
I believe he's asking about the 150... And make note of his OAL, it is 3.506"... I noticed you were using 3.33" somewhere.

I started at 3.34" and found what I believe is a good load fairly easily.... Being on the lands is overrated and usually not necessary.

Yep, what he said. I have all the tools to get the length correct to lands, but then when I have that length figured out I start the AB's in any version at .080 off.

IF that don't shoot then I go .100 off before I go closer........ then it is to .050 off, have found most AB's in general like the jump.

Here's one with the Ba at .376 (what his load worked out to) and the COAL at 3.506 default capacity

RR will probably have more to say but you should find a sweet spot (Node 5) between 59.9 gr and 61.4 gr. That is the node at .1228 plus or minus 2%. I realize it's not the speeds you were hoping for but worth a try.
I ran a basic table to 1000 yards with the two different speeds for you. Second one is what you had loaded (hot  ) first one is a table based the the velocity predicted in the center of Node 5.

I've got a plan.... Muzz, don't load anything just yet.... The misunderstanding on the OAL has created some confusion.

Dewey, I'll need about 2 maybe 3 more QuickLoad jobs from you later on.... I'll give you the specs later.

Busy loading a combine right now...

Well truckdriver at least your just reading it and it's not your rifle. I'm on a two day headache.
What your trying to accomplish will probably be worth all the trouble and a headache or two. look at all the good info your getting and after 40 plus years of reloading I'm learning something new. My extent of knowledge is blank spot compared to what these guys know and I'm humbled every time I read something here.
So I just read and try to learn from others experiences. (y)

I agree! It will be worth it. Glad to have some people that are willing to help instead of being asses like other sites. I really appreciate all of there help

Dewey,
If you would please, set your loadable increments to .5 grain for these, makes for a cleaner readout I think...

First one as follows, this is to get the burn rate.

3.506 OAL and adjust the burn rate to where 63.5 grains gives the velocity he got with that load (3,234 fps)

Next.... Using the burn rate you got from that one... Run it at 3.34" OAL (input 61 grains)

Then again at 3.36" OAL, and one more at 3.38"....

All of the above at the default case capacity (74 grains), 150 ABLR, and Reloder 26....
