noob question Ballistic tips in a Win94?

Are Nosler ballistic tip hunting bullets (p/n 30150) safe to load in a tube fed Win 94 rifle? Can I load the magazine full or will I only be safe loading 1 at a time?

What is a good choice for a bullet it these aren't safe to use in my Win 94?

I am a total noob at reloading. I have searched here and the web and can't find an answer.

IMO no they are not safe to use in a tube feed mag. That being said Hornady makes a flex tip hunting bullet that was designed to be used in tube feed mags and any flat tipped bullet will be just fine to use.

For your .30-30, I'd recommend the 150 gr Combined Technology bullet (built by Nosler). It's got a round nose profile and is specifically designed for tubular magazine rifles:

Or spring for the 170 gr Nosler Partition, also designed for tube magazine, lever action .30-30 rifles:

No, the 308 150 gr BT is a pointed bullet and is not designed for a tube feed 30-30.
You will have to use the rifle as a 2 shot, 1 in the tube and 1 in the chamber.
Nosler does make a 308 150 gr BST (51150) which is designed for tube feed 30-30 rifles.
