The BT's were originally call "Ballistic tip Solid Base" or the other way around. There very explosive. I would save them for Prarrie dogs and coyotes.
 
what round count was the box, the tender bullets were 100 per box, those made after revamping to the solid base boattail mockup were packaged 50 per box.

Just FYI, the NBT's that are made for med. game hunting are the exact same bullet as the original solid base bullet with a polymer tip and packaged 50 per box, the original BT's made for varmints are packaged 100/250 per box.

Give your IMR4064 a try with the 150s start at 45 grs and work up to about 48 you should find a load Thats the only powder my Dad ever used.
 
Well J D338 you where right about the varget powder I managed to find some and 50gr and the 125BT seated to 2.750 gave me 3/4 inch group .Thanks for the info ..Geo. :grin:
 
Plus one for IMR 4064, put some 110 v max with 45gr of 4064 and it shot under MOA at 300, 4064 is all I used in my old barrel with anything ranging from 110gr to 168, it just worked.
