I'm all for free enterprise and that everbody deserves to make a decent income BUT.....
a ALMOST DOUBLING in price overnight on Partition 2nds....

I have been buying 2nds for at least 15 years but at 75% of new, I won't anymore unless NOSLER can rollback the increase. ?????

I noticed that as well today on some of there 2nds on accubonds and partitions, well for that matter ballistic tips too.

When you can buy 1sts down at the store for 5-7 dollars more, doesnt make much sense does it?

Same here! That is ridiculous! I am kinda disappointed about that. Why would you mark a product as 2nd and then charge within a few dollars of the 1st. The only thing that makes folks do is buy 1st's for a few dollars more. It is kinda crappy. I would like to hear what Justin has to say about this. SPS and 2nds used to be a deal. Not so much anymore.

I just compared a few prices. The .257 100gr PT's are 24.95 for 2nds, Midway wants 28.99 for them. The 175gr 7mm PT is 29.95 (SPS) and 37.95 on Midway. Something is just weird. I realize there is a small savings, but once the shipping is figured in, it isn't anything. Don't get how they could push 2nds so high? Scotty

I really don't think that Nosler is in business to sell seconds. What better way to lower demand than to increase prices. I also noticed that the price increase was only on items available, while out of stock items were still at common prices.

They will either quit offering them to the public and disperse them only via wholesale ammo manufacturers or realize that the price increase is a mistake.

It's sure a bit of a turn off for Nosler bullets.

Sorry guys. The reason the seconds from Shooters Pro Shop are the only thing that increased is because there is more demand for them then the firsts. Shooters Pro Shop didn't want to raise prices on anything that they didn't have to pay more for, which means that as soon as our current inventory of firsts are sold out there will be a price increase on them as well. You will notice the same thing with all the online retailers as well, as soon as they run out of the current inventory they will increase their prices. We've been delaying a price increase for quite some time (I think the last time was in 2008) and we eventually had to do it.

I've bought a few 2nds from SPS a few years ago and after I seen how much they charged for shipping, I started buying form Cabelas for just a few dollars more and I get cash back with them just for using their card. They can say what they want, but their are other places out their that you can buy 1sts at a better price.I don't use 2nds. anymore,I shoot 1sts.I like the Winchester silvertips for my 7mms.I also got some silvertips for my 30-06 and some 165 gr. Nosler BT'S to go with them.
