Well I was able to secure 2 boxes of 150gr. ABLRs in the .284 :).
This time from a shop here in Saskatchewan.

PS. My wife & I got a great Thanksgiving day present as my son advised we are going to be grandparents again .
Also booked a late January vacation date!!!!
We have been so blessed :)

Blessings,
Dan

Dan,

Congratulations on the upcoming grandchild and vacation.

I think the 150 gr ABLR is well suited to the 280 Rem and the 280 AI. They kill WT like lighting. :)

I have to agree with you  I hope that I am getting my 280AI in the near future.

Dan,

Try 61.0 grs RL 22 in your 280 AI. :)

Dan what more could you ask for? Congratulations may the child and mother enjoy good health.
God Bless.

Congratulations on the grandchild, Dan. The 150 ABLRs will serve you well when you load for the 280AI.

Congrats on your new baby grand child! That's great news!

Yeah, those 150's should work great in your Ackley Dan. Looking forward to seeing you smoke a WT with one.

I am hoping that the rifle will be ready for the first weekend in Nov. as we still have those 2 Mulie doe tags to fill. I would really like to try some of this 500 yard shooting with the Mulies as they tend to give you standing shots .
I just have to be patient which is a hard thing to do .
Going in the man cave this afternoon to load for the up coming weekend. I want my son to use those 150gr. ABLRs out of his 270win. Again the Moose where we will be hunting should give a lot of opportunity for standing shots!!

Blessings,
Dan

I have been very impressed with the ABLR's Dan. Accurate bullets so far, and while I haven't taken anything with them, from what I have seen in recoveries in water, they look great.

Congratulations on the grandchild, Dan.
I just secured 125 168 7mm LRAB

I have been loading the 168LRAB in my 280 AI good accuracy and nice even velocities with Norma MRP running about 2920 avg..might take them elk hunting in a week or two...but it is hard to turn my back on the tried and true 160 AB that shoots great also !
