HI ALL..FINALLY..located some Nosler 308W brass....checked Nosler's website for load data....shows 150gr Partition... start at 44.5gr. of Varget...max. is 48.5gr...Nosler says their brass is heavier than others...and to start low....OK...the starting load of 44.5gr fills the case to the base of the neck..!!! I do not see how you can get 48.5gr. into their cases without compression....seems to me with the heavy nosler brass and the starting load that ought to be enough....I loaded 10 at 44.5gr and 10 at 45gr and stopped there...Anyone else run into this..???? What say ye NOSLER...?????
