From what I understand is that Nosler brass is fully prepped and ready to load. The case mouths have been chamfered and deburred, the cases sized, and the flash hole has been deburred and uniformed.

My question is two parts:

1) If I want to adjust for head space I would need to run it through a sizing die and that would seem to defeat the purpose of buying fully prepped brass. Should I just wait until after a load a batch and then re-size for headspace on the second loading?

1) I hear Nosler brass is thicker then other brass, so is that true? If so, that would mean I need to reduce my loads to account from the ectra thickness?

Being fully prepped and being correct for your headspace do not go hand and hand. You can have cases the are correct for your headspace and not prepped or the reverse . It will not be correct for your headspace until you fire it in your rifle. Running it through a die may or may not make it correct for your headspace. Firing it or runing it through a die does not change the basic prep. I have used Nosler brass in several calibers and haven't seen any difference in brass thickness that required a change in my loads. However, with any change in components, it is advisable to drop back in charge and work back to the normal load, standard recomendation.Rick.

If you have a die that correctly sizes your brass for your specific rifles chamber..... well then I need to know where you bought it

the chamfered neck and deburred flash-hole are un-effected by sizing and firing. The case will not need to be re-chamfered until it is trimmed. And the flashhole will never need to be re-deburred.

Load em up and shoot em! then partially size according to your desires.
I prefer to bump the shoulder .002 on most rifles, a few of them I FL size.

Sized means to sammi spec. You will need to fire form them to your chamber to "headspace" them.
Do you have excessive headspace in your rifle?
