Nosler Model 48 Heritage

Anyone shed some light on Nosler's Model 48 Heritage rifle? There's some good calibers including the 35 Whelen but in scrolling down to see the estimated delivery date each one was "Awaiting Update". I couldn't discern if they were available or not.

Give Nosler a call, and they will give you the straight skinny of these rifles. I would think you would want to speak with Shawn.

One of those in 35 Whelen or 9.3x62 would be very nice. I see they are chambering the 26 Nosler in it as well.

I was told 3 weeks when I asked about a Patriot rifle...I imagine the Heritage would be similar, but I may be wrong....Shawn would know for sure.

I can see one of these in my future. I wonder what sort of action they use with those rifles in the Heritage series. I couldn't find any info on their website.

It's the Nosler action...the M48...same as all the Nosler rifles.

I got this from Shawn today...

"We are currently under heavy backorder on just about all of the calibers and models we offer, and our schedule has become a bit mixed up as a result of varying parts deliveries and extended runs on some of the most heavily backordered calibers—which makes it a little tricky to give solid ETA’s, so we have things marked as “Awaiting Update” for the time being.



With that in mind, the M48 Heritage 35 Whelen’s are currently scheduled for production in December, but that could get bumped up a bit depending upon barrel deliveries."
