Hello Folks,

I know it has been forever since I have been here. I have been working like crazy and now have time to start shooting again. I am breaking in a new Browning .338 but this is not about it. I have 2000 50gr. Nosler SHOT's and I want to use them in my 22-250 and also a heavy barrel 223.

Can you guys if you have used them through me some loads? Starting loads up to max loads.

What kind of powders and so on.

Thank you all,

Fritz

It is great to be back.

I use the 50gr in the 223 with Benchmark, don't have the numbers here at work. In the 22/250 I am using H-414 with the 55gr SHOT bullets.Rick.

Thanks,

I have done some test loads a long time ago but for sure not great grouping bullets. I know they are not top target bullets, I am thinking they would make great bullets for critters.

Kind of a late reply, but I have loaded hundreds of rounds with the Nosler 50 gr SHOTS bullets. My load consists of 26.0 gr of Ramshot TAC, Fed 205 or WSR primer (I would have preferred RP 7 1/2, but none were available at the time I loaded these), and LC cases. They shoot quite well, around 3/4 of an inch at 100 yards out of my Remington 700 SPS Varmint. They also do a very nice job on ground squirrels in Montana. They chronograph around 3300 fps out of the 26" barrel on a warm day.
