I am loading some 150 grain for 300WSM with IMR 4064 to 3155 fps. The Universal Ballistic tables has a Negative (-) measurement below the line of sight at 100 yards for sighting 200 yards. Shouldn't that be above the line of sight at hundred yards versus below the line of sight for sighting in at 200 yards?

Straighten me out on this.

I am using fifth edition Nosler reloading guide

I think of it like how you would adjust our scope turrets. If your zero'd at 200 yards, you might adjust -1.5 MOA at 100 yards. But >200 yards would be +MOA adjustments on the dials.

The first reading on the universal ballistic chart is 0 yds and the -1.5 is the distance between the scope line of sight and the rifle bore which is 1.5" on average. The bullet rises to cross the scope line of sight somewhere between the muzzle and the 100 yard point, depending on trajectory of your load. From that point on It will be a + until it gets to the sight in range.
