......In 80 degree weather  . Is this really Wyoming in October? What the heck? I feel like we are wasting time and funds but whatever. It will get us in the woods if nothing else. Well off to Arlington Wyoming!

Later guys see you all in one week!

Will do fellas. I think the most fun we will have is having a drink around the fire but thanks anyway.

As we all know, elk camp is a very special place.

We envy you pop, and have a cold one for us , as you stand around the evening camp-fire.

No place on earth is like it  .

I wanted to ask how far up Rock Creek I need to go for the ones he herds up that way...oh, well. I'm after a corn-fed Platte River whitetail tomorrow!

Elk hunting in 80's, you better go high altitude!

Good luck buddy!!!

Good luck Pop. Hope the weather turns a little cooler for you. Hopefully you will have some good stories to peddle when you return. I wish your whole camp all the luck I can send! Scotty

The best of luck to you POP !
Find those water holes / wallers. This type of weather, they will still be frequenting them.

Good luck Pop.
You never know with elk. The warm weather might extend the rut and the bugleing and make them easier to locate.

Best of luck - we're looking forward to the story, and photos of that massive 7x7 monster bull!

Fotis,

Sorry to hear about your back. I hope you can rest it up and get back out to hunt.
Good luck buddy.
