Oh My! Gorgeous!

Very attractive. Not only will it deliver a smashing blow to game, but it will look good while doing it.

A ---Well DAH.--- I agree (-:

Every year when my husband asks me what I want for Christmas I print out their catalog and circle the caliber and model I want. somehow every year he manages to lose the copy

This year I send a copy to Lori and told her a Dakota Classic or Safari in a 300 H & H would be an excellent rifle for her and that she might want to ask her husband to get it for her for Christmas.

Her husband has always been very helpful in helping to get guns into other peoples gun safes and I thought the least I could do was to return the favor (-:

You sound almost too helpful, YH! Man, I can't imagine a husband losing such vital information. However, as I reflect on that, my wife loses my suggestions each year, and has done so for a long time. Finally, I just gave up and quit suggesting what I wanted, and then went out and got it for myself. Works for me.

Thanks Cheyenne! That'll be well received!

Hopefully my boxers don't mind me sharing their bed!

Guy

Spoken like a true rifle crank, Guy. Only the very ancient or historic rifles should be reserved as safe queens or wall hangers. A rifle is a finely crafted tool that is meant to be hunted.

Of all the Dakota rifles made, the model 10's are the most appealing to me as well. Who knows what body parts I would trade for one of those   .

Guy,
I couldn't afford that in the first place. And I have a habit of falling and I would be very, very sad if I put a ding in a stock like that. But I would look good as I fell.
Russ

I can not afford it either. Not even close to it.... All this is theory for most of us here anyway.
