Scotty why do people pick on you?

Broad shoulders and a fine temperament. And a sense of humor. Or humour for you Canucktuckians.

Hey BK, I bet you couldn't say that 10 times real fast :)
We have quite the crew on this forum

Blessings,
Dan

It is a nice rifle but if it was a lefty it would be almost perfect :)

Dan

I guess I'm an easy target Dan. Pretty sure I bring most of it on myself though! Got some more loading to do. Gotta see what the Whelen will do with 225 ABs!

Found a few 225 ABs I'm going to try in my 338 as well. Still looking for the perfect bullet for that rifle.

Scotty my friend you will find what your looking for. You have a lot of patients :)

Blessings,
Dan

Thanks Dan. I'm more of a tinkerer anyhow. I like to try different things and the Whelen and 338 are great shooters. Love tossing those big slugs!

hey scott was talking to my smith "trying to search his face for a hint of completion time on the middlestead" he likes all that big bore stuff, but he brought up a point that i found interesting. He was saying that most of the .358 bullets were designed for whelen velocities and tend to get a bit messy when pushed out of that parameter? i would imagine the AccuBond would be just fine at both levels.

You would think any of the premium slugs would work well at magnum speeds, cup and core might be a little different :)

Life is too short to be pissed off all the time. Just go with the flow and enjoy it. If we can't laugh at each other or ourselves we are all in trouble.

Oh I saw a M71 in 348 the other day at cabelas. Pretty rifle. It's a good thing I got other things going on or else I'm sure I would have picked up the 70 Bob that was there.
