OK this is a rare Savage!

That's quite a stock  it could be painted however :) That would be a great rig to own hopefully someone here jumps on it. The 9.3x62 is really good cartridge for big animals.

A smaller version of a 375 H&H

Now the way I figure it unless you're hunting with Ray Charles, you will never get accidentally shot!

It will definitely stand out, both for its colour and for the cartridge in which it is chambered. It will definitely make a fine bear/moose/elk rifle, and the 9.3 X 62 is gaining popularity here in North America.

Is Ray still hunting?

The 9.3x62 is a cool chambering. The stock is ........ugly. You will never have to worry about losing it it the woods.

Ruger is chambering the 9.3x62 in the Hawkeye African... I'd buy one of those if I hadn't sworn off any rifle purchases for a while, but a Savage, particularly with that stock? No thanks. That round deserves a somewhat classic platform.

Back when I was doing stocks I did two in blaze orange camo. Every now and then someone would ask for something a little different. A young lady wanted this.....

I don't know if she found boots to match!

There's not much danger of someone stealing that rifle, or the one Bill produced!

I saw one of these in the Billings MT Cabelas store about a month ago. It was generating a few comments, thats for sure.

It is a cool cartridge though.. Nothing a little tan spray paint wouldn't fix!

There you go. My sentiments exactly
