I picked up another set of 257 Wby dies off of fleabay. There was the original Gander Mountain from 1987. The price of $39.99 seems steep for that time.

Neat purchase, are you going to use them? According to the inflation calculator, $40 in 1987 is equivalent to $104 in buyer power today.

Gotta remember- you are talking about an allegedly obsolete Caliber. Around the great white nort back then if it wasn't "a .30 sumthin' it didnt kill nothin'". My 250 has been referred to as a "gopher rifle". Fortunately, I "out shot" that clown and shut him up for the most part. Think Dad paid about that for my 250 Savage dies about the same time. I picked this set up for parts. The set I have , someone ground on the seating stem. The seating dies Weatherby used are the best in my opinion.
