POP, the Timberline series have the exact dimensions and specs as the dis-continued ShortMag series, but with a price a lot lower. My guess is that with the lower price they have to be out-sourced...China?

After the experience I had with Burris customer service(or lack of),
I wouldn't have anything with the Burris name on it. Just my opinion....

In looking at some pics of these scopes, the mounting tube length is shorter. Without using off-setting rings, these scopes would be for the shorter actions with not alot of room to spare.
