I drew my second season Spike Bull tag in NE Oregon, now I have to wait for my prospective partners to wake up and check the web site. My first year in this Unit was 1963. Lots of history there for me.
I am now set, a cow elk tag in Wyoming, General Archery for Deer and Elk in Wa and the little bull tag in Oregon. Life is good, I get to hunt. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations, Bill. Yeah, if your prospective partners don't check soon, I'll bet the State will take back their tags. Sounds like a great fall lined out for you.

Congrats on the tag, hope you can fill your freezer again this fall :)

Bill,

Congratulations on your tags. Way to go.

Congratulations Bill, it is great that you will be in the field a few times this coming fall. Wishing you the best of luck.
I am looking forward to lots of great hunting stories & photos.

Blessings,
Dan

Bill, we have some camp planning to do buddy. Brandon, Shaun, Brian and Chris also drew... Not sure they will al l make it to the hunt, but the preparing has begun here in the East buddy.

Tried to call this morning, I checked OR first thing this morning.

I believe it is time to get Brandon hot on the rifle and start preparing him. I think he should have a good guide for this hunt!

Now, look at that! Bill will be guiding a whole herd of hunters. Boy, that'll be exhausting. Were it not for the young packers along, Bill, I'd offer my condolences. Congratulations to all those eastern hunters. I do hope all are able to make the trek out west.

I was thinking I could carry out the horns, and let the rest of them run up and down the hill with the meat. Scotty and Brian have both been there so not much guiding is necessary. It will be a great hunt. !!!!

Phew, if your going to carry Brandon's B&C Spike your a better man than me. Those things will probably rut the mountain up they are likely to be so long!

Your right Bill. It's going to be a great hunt.

Camp meat is always first priority and with all them tags y'all should be knee deep,in meat by sunset opening day ! Way to go guys!
