Here are the pictures. Hopefully he will chime in and tell us all about it!

Hi Pop.

Here there are the pictures and you can choose the one you like. According to cic points the trophy is gold medal. It was a beautiful hunting during the night on the snow. Old 300 h&h and AccuBond 200 gr did, as usual, the job.

Ciao,

paolo

I shot it in Romania in the Carpazi Mountains area, Transilvania (the land of Dracula  ). I hunt in Ro since many years and there are the biggest sus scrofa and the most interesting trophy in europe, difficult and hard but wonderful hunting!!! Moreover since one year I work in Bucarest so sometimes during the week end my wife reaches me from Italy and I go to the mountains for hunting with her. Here in Romania there are also very good row deer, red deer, bears, wolf and chamois (rupicapra rupicapra carpatica).
I am lucky because in Italy also I live in a beautiful hunting area in the north part closed to switzerland. So let's say that when I am not working I usually hunt
ciao,
paolo
ps: load data AccuBond 200 gr, 67.2 vihtavuori 560, fed 215, remington case. Accurate and deadly (I really shot many wild boars and red deer with this  )

You're lucky in Italy. In Greece no rifles or pistols. It sux!

Thanks for sharing Paolo (and Pop), those tusks are awesome!

Europe does appear to offer some fantastic hunting grounds with the mountains through the midsection, the flatlands in the north and some forested areas in the west have even recovered from being destroyed during the first war. However, I've not seen the eastern parts; Vienna is the furthest I've been.

Keep it up bud. The rest of us are living through your stories!

Thank you for sharing your pictures and story. Looks like a nice place to hunt for sure. That boar looks big and nasty.

Awesome! I can't imagine anything getting away from a 200grn AccuBond launched from the classic but wonderful 300 H&H.

Isn't the 'net incredible? Not long ago, one from Europe, or anywhere else for that matter, would have to have a book published about his hunting experiences in order share with us. Now, they are just "one of us." Or, we are just "one of them." Fantastic! Thanks for sharing.
