who here has used them and what can you tell me about them?

I wonder how or what the blem is specifically is the weight off or out of the normal tolerance?

I really want to try some of the 180 gr protected points in my ultra mag

although they will probably be more accurate than me regardless

I have had generally good results with Nosler seconds. They are supposed to be only blems that meet weight and other performance requirements.

I had one purchase of Partitions that varied too much but Nosler was kind enough to exchange them for me. Great customer service. The last batch that I bought were 180 grain .338 BT's and they meet expectations.

Nosler Seconds are just about all I shoot for load development and hunting.
In fact, the only time I buy first runs is when I am out and in need of bullets.
Seconds are factory over runs or minor cosmetic blemishes or irregular tips.
The weight is within spec or else they are scraped.
The accuracy is fine and usually you can't tell the difference once the bullets are out of the box or bag.
Here is a 4 shot group shot with 338 cal 250 gr PT seconds.

Last month I bought 100 AccuBond seconds and have hundreds of Speer seconds bought in Lewiston Idaho. JD is right they all look the same and shoot the same when you mix them.

The firsts and seconds have done good for me. Can't tell the diff. I shoot only seconds now because of the cost. Can shoot more for less, and I neeed the practice.

Same here, for Nosler bullets, I always try and buy 2nd's unless they are in a caliber/weight that don't come up for 2nds very often. I have had my best groups to date with 2nds. Shoot with confidence. They are a gold mine for me. Scotty
