Looks like MidwayUSA is running a sale on Nosler Partitions. $10 off the 180 grain .308 is probably worth at least two boxes for me.

I noticed they have the old 200gr Partitions for the .308 caliber on sale there as well . Thats the bullet we used to load up for Moose and Elk hunting . They used to work years ago and bet they still do! Makes a top load for game over 500lbs and because that bullet design performs so well, I would take it anytime over the old 220gr loads that were commercially loaded at very milk toast velocitys......... trying to remember the load we used to use??? does does 57gr of 4831 and 2550fps outta the 06 sound right?????

We used 60-61 grs of 4831 (surplus military) with a 180 PT, had to use Winchester cases or some occasional bulging would occur.
