Well here is the next phase of the Wild West trigger story.

I got my WW trigger and it did not "drop in", as you may remember. I took it to my gun smith and ...he could not get it to fit either so he called the company. After a while they called and as they discussed the problem and the result was pictures of the parts were sent to them. They said that they had never seen this in a Marlin (1952 by the way).

So the parts involved are being sent to Alaska to have the trigger installed. So much for my 80.00 self install trigger job.

Well, once you get it back, you will be set to go.
What did you do for a lever?

Actually this was my Dad's Marlin 30-30. I got it when he died in 62. Hunted with it for quite a few years til I needed "something bigger and better". Got the itch to hunt with it again, but not with a 7# trigger. I am still somewhat interested in something in a 35 but that will wait a while.

The first stainless guide-gun I had was equipped with a 7# floppy factory trigger, also. When I ordered the drop-in trigger replacement, that's just what it did ... drop-in. It broke at 2.5# and was very nice indeed!
